Patent Litigation Attorney (Remote Opportunity):

Latitude is looking for a California licensed attorney with 8+ years of patent litigation experience who is eager to do contract/engagement work with a Bay Area boutique law firm. An engineering or computer science background is preferred. Experience working with companies based in China is also preferred. This is a great opportunity for anyone with the required experience who is looking to do to remote work without a billable hour requirement. The successful candidate should have significant experience handling written discovery, motion work, depositions and court hearings in patent litigation matters. It is a part-time contract position (approximately 25 hours per week). The successful candidate can be living anywhere in the United States. However, they must be licensed in California.

Qualifications of the Patent Litigation Attorney (Remote Opportunity):

• 8+ years of experience handling patent litigation matters
• Excellent communication skills
• Capability and experience to work independently and as part of a team
• Licensed in California
• Excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding references
• An engineering or computer science background is preferred
• Experience working with companies based in China is preferred

Compensation

The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $275,000 to $325,000 or more. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
